The Rev. Katherine B. Ekrem (she/her/hers) became the Rector of Christ Church in December of 2021. Previously Kate was the Rector of Church of Our Redeemer in Lexington, MA for 12 years, and the Rector of Grace Church in Norwood, MA for 7 years before that. She was ordained in the Diocese of New York in 2000. She has been married to Dave Ekrem since 1995 and they are the parents of Peter , Tom and Lucy. Kate is an avid backpacker and hiker, intermediate knitter, and beginning sketcher.

The Rev. Sarah Neumann (she/her) came to Christ Church as Curate in June 2024. She attended seminary at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale where she earned a Diploma in Anglican Studies and an MDiv from Yale Divinity School. Prior to seminary, Sarah served as Minister for Youth and Young Adults at Trinity Church, Boston and studied sociology and religion at Williams College. Sarah loves reading nonfiction, listening to Bruce Springsteen, and spending time near/in/on bodies of water.

The Rev. Dr. Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski is the Kraft Family Professor and Director of the Center for Christian-Jewish Learning at Boston College. From 2005-2022 he served as professor of church history at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin and Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley. He is a scholar of Jewish-Christian relations, comparative theology, and Anglicanism. Prior to 2005, Dan and his wife Jennifer were members of Trinity Church, Boston. They live in Arlington with their teenage children Greg and Miriam.

David is a graduate of New England Conservatory with Master of Music degrees in organ and choral conducting from The New England conservatory of Music. He was Music Director of the Wellesley Village Church for 36 years, and Music Director of the Commonwealth Chorale for 43 years. David has been on the faculties of New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory and Wellesley College, and is a former Dean of the Boston Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Katie comes to Christ Church from being VP of Operations for a specialty food company that started right here in Cambridge. She has over a decade of experience in operations and logistics, and has never met a spreadsheet she couldn't love. She's also a former paramedic, and spent a few years with the FDNY EMS division. 

Katie is a member of two choirs, and loves partner social dances, especially Lindy Hop, Blues, and Tango. She enjoys making art and building things across a variety of hobbies, from pottery and blacksmithing to furniture-making and home repair projects.

Jessica (she/her/hers) grew up in Medford and attended Salem State University, where she received a B.A. in Psychology with focuses on sociology and women’s studies.

Outside of work Jessica enjoys participating in group fitness classes, being in nature, and will take all your book recommendations!

Hernan has worked at Christ Church for over 30 years! Hernan enjoys spending time at the lake with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Mike has worked at Christ Church since late 2019. He grew up in Everett and previously worked as an advanced auto tech, before joining us here. Mike enjoys fishing, bowling, boating and being in nature. Mike runs coffee hour on Sundays, so be sure to stop by and say hi!
