Karen and her family began to attend Christ Church in the late 1990s. Karen joined Christ Church staff as Priest Associate in 1998. In her time with Christ Church, she has served in a variety of ministries; liturgy and worship, Anti-Racism Committee, Christian Education and pastoral ministry. Currently she serves in liturgical leadership and facilitates the coordination of the Pastoral Visitors.
Karen is Dean of Students and Community Life at Episcopal Divinity School (EDS). She is also a faculty member in Pastoral Theology and Contemporary Society. She has taken several student groups on study tours of Southern Africa.
Karen lives in Cambridge with her youngest son and has two college aged children. She enjoys travel, gardening and cheering on the Cambridge Rindge and Latin Falcons at athletic events.
