Churches everywhere strive to serve the communities in which they find themselves, and CCC is no exception. The "community" to which we belong extends as far as Honduras and comes as close as the parish auditorium where weekly meals are offered to all. Consider these projects in mission, outreach and social justice which are currently underway at Christ Church, and consider this an invitation for you to take part in one of them.
Allocations Committee: considers outreach grant requests to the parish.
Anti-Racism and Diversity: raises awareness through education, sermons and worship.
Cuba Mission Group: annual mission trip to Cuba under the auspices of the Episcopal Church of Cuba.
Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO): meets to discuss social justice issues.
The Harvard Square Churches Meal Program: offers weekly Thursday evening meals to the homeless in the parish auditorium.
Honduras Mission: annual mission trip to the Diocese of Honduras in Tegucigalpa.
Outdoor Church: worship and sandwiches for homeless community in Harvard Square.
Thrift Shop: sells used clothing, accessories and household goods for outreach projects.
