Parish Ministries
Leadership
Meet the clergy and staff who lead many of our programs. View Leadership
The parishioners of Christ Church Cambridge are our ministers! Below is a sampling of the many ways in which the Christ Church community work together to create community in Christ. If you would like to be part of one or more groups, contact us.
Altar Guild
Women and men of all ages prepare the church and its altar for worship on Sundays and for other special liturgical events.
Church Archives
For 250 years, Christ Church has looked out over the Cambridge Common. The extensive church records need tending, and the parish archivist welcomes assistance.
English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Individuals work with those new to the US by helping them learn English as they absorb American culture.
Hospitality Committee
Providing hospitality to newcomers and members alike is important for building strong community. Committee members prepare delicious food and surroundings for parish social events.
Pastoral Care Team
Members of the parish work with the clergy to provide community care and connection with parishioners who are ill, in the hospital, or living in care facilities. This team provides a critical connection between the Christ Church community who gather on Sunday mornings and those who, for whatever reason, are unable to join us for worship.

Worship Assistants
The worship services, led by the clergy, include the offerings of many others: readers (lectors), chalice bearers, acolytes, ushers, and others. Liturgy is truly the "work of the people."
