Giving: Stewardship
Each fall, Christ Church conducts a stewardship campaign, in which the parish seeks the financial support and commitment of individual parishioners and friends for the coming church year.

This effort is of critical importance because, historically, two-thirds of the operating budget of the parish comes from individual pledges. The balance comes from a designated portion of endowed funds, from the rental of our facilities, and from income from our Thrift Shop.
The budget supports our Christian education and family life, the costs of administration, the annual operation of our aging facilities, our music program, our Clergy and staff and our support of the Diocese, larger church and mission in the world. In reality, stewardship is a year-round effort involving community-building, and parishioners are urged to be as generous as they can because it is recognized that everything we are entrusted with is a gift from God.
What is equally important is that a self-sustaining parish is a catalyst for involvement and participation in the wider mission of the church, and Christ Church has always been known for its missionary efforts and outreach to communities and individuals beyond our doors.
