* The Christ Church Thrift Shop began its life as Re-Threads, a shop open a couple of days a week selling used clothing, in the early 1960s. It soon grew to occupy three large rooms in a small building directly behind the Parish Hall. Proceeds from the sale of experienced clothing, pre-read books, tested knick-knacks and small home goods during the nine months a year (September - May) the shop is open support the Building Preservation Fund which protects the 240 year old church building.
A favorite always in local listings of special Thrift Shops in the area, The Christ Church Thrift Shop welcomes donations in the large bin on the lower level of the Parish Hall on Garden Street.
We welcome you to visit the shop, where the selection and quality is unmatched. Designer dresses, beautiful accessories, and fashion sportswear take their place alongside men's fine suits, shirts, and sweaters. The collections of vinyl records, books, and costume jewelry that come our way are always favorites!
